Tips: You don't need to write a book for your character, but the more knowledge you show, more are the chances of getting approved in case you are aiming for a higher rank.

Mentioning your Rite of Passage, the deeds you had to accomplish to reach each of the ranks to the one you are applying for, what did you learn so far with your character, their goals and why/how they ended up in Dillimore will give you extra points.
